When did you first become interested in art?

I was about 8 years old. There was a contest being held at my school which I participated in. This was In Newark, New jersey. We had to draw something that we liked. I decided to draw a picture of Jesus Christ. This was my first competition. I won first Prize. I still have the Trophy I won.

What style of art do you use most?

I like to do a mixture of Realism & Impressionism, in Oils.

Has your style changed from when you first began as an artist?

What made you choose oil painting?

I went to the El Prado Museum in Madrid with my father at a very early age on vacation and I was mesmerized as it was so big from the outside. I remember at the entrance of the museum, there was a huge statue of the great Master Velazquez, which really impressed me along with the rest of the museum. Since then I always wanted to be a painter so I began studying Velazquez´s works and creating my own pieces.
